2019 Lincoln MKC is a future powerful SUV car with great upgrades. With sales of over 20,000 units per year since 2015, it is fair to say that the MKC was a successful type of the brand in SUV class until now. Wonderfully, nearly half of all customers of MKC come from other carmakers since it has introduced many people to the brand. However, the updates are far from significant beyond the design element, with most of them is carried over, save for new interior decoration for the Black Label versions and a few driving aids features. 2019 Lincoln MKC Fresh Exterior Design
The interior of 2019 Lincoln MKC brings several changes including new chrome grille, new chrome trim around back, more fresh design, revised lower bumper, welcome lights front and rear, and more premium look. When the upgrades are mild, Lincoln did make some effort on refreshing the MKC, but only the front section. Although the up front section carries the same headlamps and almost uses identical bumper design, the new grille makes significant change on the MKC look. The MKC discarded the two-piece grille with horizontal slats for a honeycomb-like pattern in the one pieces, it is similar to MKZ, Continental, and Navigator.
Lincoln MKC 2019 Natural Interior
Going into the interior of 2019 Lincoln MKC, there are several changes in this section including the new trim for black label models, rialto green upholstery for reserved trim, new driver-assist features, and Optional heated cooled seats. The interior carries nearly unchanged in term of styling and materials, but in fact, this is different with MKC that has a warm and inviting cabin packed with extra and smooth materials. Even though the center stack is not the most attractive in this segment, the craftsmanship is solid enough. In other word, it could use a larger display. It is also ergonomic and not too cluttered. Commonly, the WiFi and USB ports help every passenger and driver to follow the route and keep connected, whereas the SYNC 3 system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will make you enjoy your entertainment during the long trip when you get bored. For the entry-level model, you can still take as an option the heated and cooled seats. However, it would have been a benefit for Lincoln MKC over the competitors. Unfortunately, Lincoln decided not to include additional main features. Taking as an option, the available roof look will be filled of colorful natural light during the day.
2019 Lincoln MKC More Powerful Drivetrain
In the drivetrain section, the new 2019 Lincoln MKC offers 2.0-Liter Engine with 245 Horsepower, Solid Fuel Economy. For optional AWD, 2.3-Liter EcoBoost with 285 Horsepower, Six-Speed Automatic Transmission, and more power than the Competition. The 2019 Lincoln MKC remains unchanged in engine section, in other word the base model comes with the same 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. The Engine rated at 245 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 270 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm, that is clearly mean this new Lincoln MKC is more powerful than its competitors.
2019 Lincoln MKC Sales Information
Sales information for the new 2019 MKC is not available yet, but don’t expect it to have significant change compared to the outgoing model. It is expected to release soon in the half of this year with various prices. The base Premier trim retails from $33,400, the Reserve trim and the sticker jumps to $40,000. So, the Black Label version retails from $46,000.
